Ginger Baker must've got his visa problems in the USA sorted out.

Although not mentioned on the Cream 2005 website, The Economic Times ran a story alledging Cream will play Madison Quare Garden beginning October 24th through the 26th. Platinum Entertainment lists ticket prices, high-rollers only please, prime floor seating is $3295 a seat. Most seats are over a grand, though many are only $450 to $695. That's a scalper company though.

I think I'll just get the $30 DVD available in October and buy a new Yamaha kit with the money I saved.

That sounds like a good idea, 5/8. Whoa!!! Who can afford those ticket prices?

With Cream's new D.V.D. scheduled for an early October release, a few stateside shows would definitely improve sales of a decidedly old-school band. In the back of my mind I get the feeling it may be a hoax, but hopefully not. The Cream 2005 site would surely mention it unless the media found out about it beforehand and decided to blab.

I have not heard any news on the Fender end of Clapton coming to the states.

At those prices, it'd BETTER be a hoax...

I draw the line at approx $500+ per pers for a 5 day-wk-end get-away [Th-Mon] in NYC/Saratoga [flights, rental cars, hotel rooms, food, various & sundries]; & THAT's for approx 27 smokin' famous jazz, RnB, & fusion groups...

Cream, altho landmark in rock, still just "ain't all that" [AND a big bag a' Sun chips]...

Yeah--for real, let's hope it's a hoax. What's the demographic for prices like that? We're talking in the range of a rental or mortgage payment for most...

I don't wanna be starting or fostering any rumors, but I read about it and thought it of note.

The ticket prices I posted are scalped.

And I think the USA stuff is gonna happen.

Our president said that history would prove him right. I don't have large enough ones to make that statement myself in this case; however my gut tells me the chances are good (for the Garden.)

If I'm wrong just start callin' me four instead of 5.
